Satutuday March 21 Jeff and I went out and cleared out the Poison Oak that was under the trees where we left off last wednesday. We also benched out some of the narrower side hill sections and built up the low side of 3 off camber corrners. T he trail from this point up gets easyer, mostly just requiering brush trimming to the dam.
is located six miles from downtown Salinas, and 13 miles from the Monterey Peninsula. Toro park’s 4,756 acres is a haven for thousands of visitors including hikers, mountian bikers, and horseback riders!
This blog will provide information on how to become more involved in the up-keep and preservation of this great resource of Monterey County!
